Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of us-corporate-listings.com (the “Site”) operated by US Corporate Listings (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

US Corporate Listings is an independent online directory that helps people find and contact local service businesses. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency. We do not perform services listed on the Site, we are not a party to any agreement between customers and businesses, and we do not employ or supervise the businesses listed.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account can be used both as a customer and, after registering as a Pro, as a service provider.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Business listings (Pros)

  • Pros must have authority to represent the business they list and must keep listing information accurate and lawful, including any licenses they display.
  • New listings and claims may be reviewed before publication. We may edit formatting, reject, or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading or in breach of these Terms.
  • By submitting content (text, logos, photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and format it on the Site and in promotion of the Site. You confirm you have the rights to that content.
  • Business listings may be created from publicly available information and claimed by their owners. Ownership claims are reviewed before access is granted.

4. Memberships, placement and verification

  • Pros may choose a free or paid membership (Free, Verified Pro or Premium Pro). Each profile shows its membership level, and higher memberships appear above lower ones in search results.
  • Membership features, prices and limits are described on the Pricing page and may change with notice.
  • Paid memberships renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • The “Ownership verified” mark reflects checks performed by our team (such as business ownership) and cannot be purchased.

5. Reviews

  • Reviews must reflect your genuine, first-hand experience with the business. Do not post reviews of your own business, a competitor, or a business you are connected to, and do not offer or accept payment or incentives for reviews.
  • Reviews must not contain unlawful, hateful, harassing or obscene content, personal information of others, or spam.
  • We moderate reviews and may decline or remove reviews that break these rules. Businesses may respond publicly where their membership allows but cannot delete reviews.
  • Ratings from third-party services are displayed separately and only when obtained through official integrations.

6. Quote requests, matching and contacting businesses

When you request a quote from a business profile, your details are sent to that business. When you use “Get free quotes”, we send your request to up to three businesses that list the service in your area; matching uses the same ordering as our search results and does not guarantee availability, price or quality. Any quote, contract, payment, warranty or dispute is solely between you and that business. You should verify licenses, insurance and references before hiring.

7. Questions & answers and review invitations

  • Questions and answers must be relevant to the business, must not include personal or contact details, and may be moderated or removed.
  • Businesses may only invite people who were actually their customers, must have the right to share those customers’ contact details with us, must invite customers regardless of their experience, and must not offer anything in exchange for a review. Invited reviews are labelled “Invited by the business” and are moderated like any other review.
  • We may limit or suspend review-invitation and Q&A features for accounts that misuse them.

8. Prohibited conduct

  • Scraping, harvesting or bulk-copying listing data or user information.
  • Interfering with the Site’s security or operation, or attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Submitting false, misleading or infringing content, or impersonating any person or business.
  • Using the Site to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.

9. Third-party sites

The Site links to business websites and third-party services. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and all listings are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of listings, the quality, safety or legality of any business’s services, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, US Corporate Listings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your dealings with any business listed on the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept them. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

Listing & Community Guidelines

Your use of the directory is also governed by our Listing & Community Guidelines, which describe prohibited conduct (including fake listings, duplicate accounts, category stuffing, false credentials, fake reviews and unauthorized claims) and the enforcement steps we may take.
